My clients deserve cleanliness, quality, beautiful nails and brows, respect, and peace. I utilize only the best professional products and educate my clients about the benefits of my products and about home nail and brow care. I am licensed and highly trained to ensure successful service execution every time. Additionally, I educate my guests to make them more informed consumers. My clients are never rushed or abused during their services. Polish And Ink is committed to the community and building lasting relationships with all of my valued clients. Health & Safety
I am the premier provider of healthy, hygienic, sanitary nail and brow care in the area. I offer clients the safety and protection they deserve by following and exceeding state board requirements by autoclave sterilizing all metal implements and placing them in a sealed sterile pouch until used. I use new disposable files, buffers, birch wood sticks and needles on each client. As a professional licensed manicurist, for everyone's safety, I have been educated to refuse to provide services when a condition exists that requires medical attention. If such a nail conditions exists, I have a podiatrist I can refer you to.
No-Soak (Waterless) Pedicures
Wet pedicures and whirlpool tubs are quickly becoming a thing of the past. Internal piping is a breeding ground for bacteria and can easily spread nail fungus and other communicable diseases. By eliminating the tub of water, I am also eliminating the risks associated with water-borne bacteria. Additionally, soaking the nails in water compromises the integrity of the service outcome, causing nails to shred during filing, and eventually causing the top layer of the nail and polish to flake off.
Polish And Ink is proud to be one of a growing number of conscientious nail technicians that are abandoning these practices in favor of steamed towel pedicures, a method that utilizes far less water, doesn't adversely affect the integrity of the service or threaten the environment, and has been proven to be rated more highly by clients in terms of comfort and relaxation.
